I may be only 16, but a lot has changed since I was 10 years younger. I remember when you got a Big Kids Meal instead of a Happy Meal for the first time, and thought you were the cool kid on the block. I remember when I was always falling off my bike and scraping my knee, and my neighbor would always put a big bandage on it and send me home, then the next day I would try again and it happened all over again. I bet she spent twenty dollars on just my right knee. I remember how excited I was to get a shiny new Playstation 2 for my tenth birthday, and my dad and I would play Need for Speed: Most Wanted in turns. Yeah, I bet he remembers those

Why do we help people we don't know from other countries that are in a bad spot, yet turn around and dismiss the problems of our own? I've always wondered why humans save water to preserve the Earth, yet drive around in cars that release toxic chemicals. Why do we do these things? Are we nothing but civilized savages, or are we just human? I think we're just a big group of sentient hypocrites that managed to create fire and build off from there. I'm done.
